Service and Ministry Opportunities...
Counseling is available to individuals, couples and families on a fee basis. Counselees may pay for services at the time of each counseling session or through private health insurance. Counselees will be encouraged to participate financially, to the degree that they are able, in paying for counseling services. Some limited scholarships are available for individuals who are unable to pay for counseling.
The Ministry Center's hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday with some evening appointments available upon request.
Individuals seeking counsel may call 244-1385 to set an appointment. If appointments must be broken, we request 24 hours notice. Both the setting of appointments and the intake of client information are handled with strict confidentiality.
- Education and Support Groups
As needed, counseling ministry staff will lead biblically based educational groups on relationship building and self esteem. Staff will also lead support groups in the areas of grief resolution and communication.
A future hope for the counseling ministry includes training interested church members to become effective caregivers. Programs such as Wise Counsel and Marriage Savers may be used for interested church members.
